From Research to Production

Our research method comes from the combination of those of David Hume, Adam Smith, and Plato:

  • The Hume-method establishes the feeling and motive behind the research. Does an economist want to solve financial crisis to save his own banking stocks? Or does he relly want to help society? This is the heart-method.
  • The Smith-method gets data to find patterns. Unlike modern research that gets recent data, Smith-data can go far back to the very start of recorded history. This is the brain-method.
  • The Plato-method compares the results of data to traditional knowledge and metaphysics. If there's something fishy, then dialectics will sort it out. If you don't know dialectics, then you can blame the invention of epistemology. This is the soul-method.

Our methods therefore are a maximization of human heart, mind, and soul for the purpose of solving really big problems.
